Creative Stretch

Cardiovascular, weight training, and flexibility are the three most important factors to total body conditioning. As a dancer, stretching and strengthening is how to keep your “instrument” in tune. Dance Conditioning

This class improves your technique and performance in all dance forms by strengthening the body’s core while improving your balance, alignment, flexibility, coordination, and grace. The expectation is more lift, deeper plies, tighter turns, higher jumps, and improved extension and turn-out. Your movement will advance as you learn through imagery of body mechanics, breath control, increase core, posture and leg power through stability and explosive exercises, release tension, and lengthening movements to increase flexibility. Not a dancer? This class is developed to also help those individuals wishing to seek core and over-all strength, longer leaner bodies, grace, coordination, and the tools to help achieve a “dancer’s body”.
